  1. Hi,
Super website. I am leading a project that seeks to recognise casualties of the First World War commemorated by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in the United States by creating a short on-line biography of each man. In the United States there are 363 men buried in cemeteries across 42 states. Most are Americans or first generation immigrants, most of whom enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, but some are members of the Royal Navy and British Army who died here.

One of the casualties is Private W R Eveleigh, who is commemorated on the memorial at Rattery. I was wondering if I could use your photo of the wooden memorial in the church to illustrate his story?

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Nick
