Falmouth Cemetery – Part Three

We are now in the upper, eastern section of the cemetery, looking at the same Cross of Sacrifice as we saw from below in Part Two.  All the graves we shall visit in Part Three are casualties of World War I.

Although I don’t know for sure, I’m fairly sure this line of First World War graves are all burials from the military hospital situated in the town at the time.

“Mort Pour La Belgique”.

John Doe, perhaps.

There are more First World War graves scattered throughout this section of the cemetery, and we shall pay our respects to them in the final part of our visit.
