A Heart Needs A Home

Well folks, finally, after eleven and a half months, we’re…

009

…Home Sweet Home.

014

004

But once you’ve emptied most of the boxes…

007

…that’s when the chaos ensues.

002  005

Normality may still a be little way down the road (you should see upstairs!), and there are a few glitches yet to be sorted (the water dripping through a light fitting two nights ago wasn’t part of any plan I remember seeing), but all-in-all,  it’s damned nice to be home.

Congratulation MJS – mission almost accomplished – it must be so good to “be home” and especially for Christmas.

Don’t understand your “chaos” – looks situation normal at our place (just joking).

Have a very Happy Christmas and an enlightening healthy New Year
Best wishes to you and Mrs MJS

Yay, finally! We’re so happy for you two!
Never mind the chaos, now’s the time to enjoy the holidays! 🙂

Oh man, you said it! We are both mighty tired, I can tell you that. Could I do with a few days wandering Flanders’ fields and imbibing the evenings away with you guys.

In a copycat version of Where’s Waldo?
Nicole found a cute doggy, an owl, Spiderman.
I found Zappa, and what I think is a Flemish history of beer?
While “Everest” is on the top shelf, curiously “Type VII U Boats” is in the middle?
May it never see water in any case.

But neither of us has yet spotted Amelia. Who obviously has learned the fourth level of John Cleese’s “How not to be seen”.

    Welcome back to your home.

First of all, if I can stop laughing, thanks for your good wishes. Glad you had fun with the pics, Nicole (I have added a picture to the post for you). The mountaineering, WWII and Formula 1 books survived reasonably well and are on those shelves, but I have very few bookcases left (only the solid wood ones survived, of course). As you spotted, there is little order yet, just the need to get some stuff off the floor – to create space for more stuff, of course!

      Have a fun Christmas.
