French Flanders: Richebourg Part Two – Rue-des-Berceaux Military Cemetery
Rue-des-Berceaux Military Cemetery was begun in January 1915, and when it closed in February 1917, only around one hundred & fifty men had been buried here.

Neuve Chapelle war memorial is an unprepossessing little memorial outside this building in the centre of the village.

There’s a track down the left edge of this cornfield, and beyond, some trees on the horizon that we’ve seen before, if from the other side.
