St. Buryan Church.  Note the war memorial to the right of the photo.   Twenty Merry Maidens… …and a dog. Cornish landsape.  

Interesting to see this inscription remembering the men of the United States Army who were billeted around here in 1944. One killed so far from home, one so near, and yet so far.  So sad.
