Pencoys with Carnmenellis (Four Lanes) War Memorial & St. Andrews Church
Interesting to see this inscription remembering the men of the United States Army who were billeted around here in 1944. One killed so far from home, one so near, and yet so far. So sad.

Nothing relevant to show you in the churchyard, and the church itself, that of St. Wendrona, was sadly locked.
Penmarth – Carnmenellis Churchyard
So if this is a churchyard where, exactly, is the church? Well once upon a time it was right here, but in 1970 it was ravaged by fire, and demolished the following year. Okay.
