    Great to see a memorial in such a nice location. So many have ended up surrounded as the land around them has increased in value.
    Interesting to note that with the exception of the two Ross’s, those with identical surnames are separated on the memorial. I presume that is to denote that they were not immediate family, but would be interested to know if that’s actually correct.

    I thought as the train headed north this morning and I was specifically looking for the war memorial I might have spotted it???

      I reckon it’s obscured by trees. If not, you could probably see it from around where the track crosses the road; it is 500 feet north of the station.
