   The pictures of the war memorial and in the Garden of Rememberance were made by my Grandfather Joseph Nicholls, J Nicholls and son. He was paid by Lostwithiel Council £175, to bye the granite from a qarry on Bodmin Moor, except for the top section, which came from he qurry at Luxilyan, and a second £175 when it war compleatedin 1921, By father added the wwii block in 1946. I have kept them in good order for the post 30 years.

     I would like to know if this memorial’s is Grade 2 listed,or if not how do i go about it Just some one should want to make alterations to the granite surround.

       Hello Arthur. Long time! It seems that the memorial is not listed. I found the following: Lostwithiel. This memorial is not currently listed. More about listing and the protection of historic places can be found on the Historic England website: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/apply-for-listing/
