      Ah, of course. Didn’t occur to me that that might be the case. On checking, I see that one of their names appears on another Penzance war memorial I snapped during my visit. I shall post the photos soon.

    Kathryn thanks for telling me about the Royal Edward never knew about that.
    Noticed they had sequential regimental numbers and must have known each other very well as according the CWGC they were 48 and 50 years old.
