I have set up a page for the Truro War Memorial, to show the one Yorkshire Regiment soldier who is commemorated on the memorial.
The page links to this website.
The poor Yorks fellow had a surname which proved to be anything but user friendly. On the memorial he is shown as “F J C Hitchens”, but elsewhere he is shown as “Hitchings” and “Hitchins” as well as “Hitchens”!
