One Response to Woking Crematorium

Thanks for your emailed link to here, MJS. Love the welcoming pussy cat – guarding the first custom-built Crematorium in the UK. Apparently they even had “Funeral Trains” from London with a station within the Crematorium grounds.

Brought back memories of at an annual open day, I toured our local oldest (now refurbished) Crematorium – very professional, interesting and nowhere near as gruesome as one might think. At a subsequent daytime job “public speaking training course” I chose this subject as my 5 minutes address. Even though I went one minute over time, I blew the Instructor and class away and won the prize!
