Although the church (All Saints) was shut, and they don’t appear to want swallows nesting here, the porch was thankfully open, allowing us access to the Roll of Honour.
In a little enclosed churchyard behind the church, two CWGC headstones mark the graves of two more casuaties of the Great War.
