While we’re here, and thanks to the very nice lady registrar who told me about it in the first place, there’s an unusual plaque in the little car park behind the library building that we should visit before we leave.

And hats off to the nameless councillor, or whoever it was, who ensured that this section of wall was retained on which to affix the plaque.  A very nice touch, I think.
