And so we find ourselves on the battlefield of Fromelles.  Half a mile south east of Le Trou Aid Post Cemetery, this is V.C. Corner Australian Cemetery and, beyond the Cross of Sacrifice, the Australian Memorial that stands within.

A short distance south of Rue-du-Bois Military Cemetery, and now just two miles from Fromelles and only half a mile from the front lines, our next stop is the beautiful Le Trou Aid Post Cemetery.

A short distance to the west of Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery we find our next stop, Rue-du-Bois Military Cemetery.

Grey skies and an ornate cemetery entrance greet us as we arrive at Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery.
